Protests at the Republican convention
Massive protests are due to take place outside the Republican
national convention, starting on the 29th August.
Despite the authorities attempting to prevent protesters using
Central Park anti-Bush expect a massive upsurge of anger against George
Bush and the Republican Party in the last stages of the presidential
election.
It is still not clear which of the two main contenders will will this
election and both pro- and anti- war campaigners will be pulling out all
the stops in the next few months to ensure their side wins the day.
