Brilliant music festival organised by the Levellers. Guaranteed to be full of hippies, punks, travellers and other generally smelly lefty types. One of the best parties of the year!

Peace One Day

Global

Global day of ceasefire and non-violence. Began with a campaign launched by film maker Jeremy Gilley in 1999, and supported by Nobel prize winners, artists, musicians, religious and political leaders and millions of people around the world -now officially recognised by the UN. The campaign’s most important task, however, has only just begun – to let the world know! Get involved, make a commitment to mark September 21st as a day of peace!
